What I do and How I Can Help

As an educational consultant, I visit wilderness programs/outdoor therapeutic, residential treatment programs, emotional growth/therapeutic programs, and all types of boarding schools.

I try to see what parents would need to see if they were visiting the program. I ask the questions parents would ask if they were visiting the program. Parents need to know their child will be kept safe, fed well, and nurtured as they progress through their challenges.

There are a lot of programs out there and parents need to wonder, “Which is the right program for my teen?” Through personal visits, I can recommend the right program for your youth. I will take the time to make a match between the student and the program. It is important for each child to be placed in the right program or school at the right time and one that fits their specific needs. By doing this, it will allow the teen to be set up for success from the beginning.

Signing on with me gives you the assurance of very personal attention, constant availability by phone and email. I work with a small number of families so that I can offer undivided attention to each client.

My practice is an extension of my career as a teacher, where I focus on each individual student with the goal of establishing a personal relationship and maximizing potential.
